IRS tables (tax rate schedules, tax brackets, and standard deductions) have been updated for
2006. Performance statistics for asset types on the ROI Calculator have been updated through
the end of 2005.
You can now specify a subset of your tax-deferred assets to use for a 72(t) (SEPP)
account, allowing more flexibility in 72(t) calculations and greater
likelihood of making 72(t) work for you.
The Calculate Best Social Security Age button in the Interview now calculates both the age and the annual social security benefit that will maximize your Total Annual Income over your lifetime. Nest Egg uses
a single social security benefit amount at a certain age which you enter as well as your self-estimated ROI and life expectancy to calculate this estimate.
Financial Events can be temporarily disabled or enabled to allow easy comparison of strategy variations. There is also a Notes section in each event so you can append your own text description.
The Report will now show amounts on the Savings and Distributions
schedules in today's dollars as well as actual dollars.
A Loan Calculator has been added to calculate payments or terms for amortized loans.
The Graph now plots income and contributions, and can be rendered as a bar
chart or line graph. Pie Charts have been added. All graphs can
be saved as image files.
