RELEASED - March 2006

FUNDWATCH™ 6.0

New in this release:

  1. Fundwatch can now track securities on a daily basis as well as weekly. You can establish new data files designated for daily price/volume tracking and use Fundwatch to closely analyze your frequently traded securities. All the technical analysis tools can be separately configured for daily or weekly, and since all securities within the same file will use the same tracking interval, they will all be compared on the same basis.
  2. Volatility Analysis now includes Beta, R-Squared, and Sharpe Ratio. Beta is a popular measure of both volatility and correlation to the market, and R-squared measures the quality of the associated correlation. Fundwatch allows Beta values to be calculated against any security (or index) in the data file. The Sharpe Ratio provides a commonly used risk/reward measurement that compares volatile securities on the basis of a risk-free rate of return, which Fundwatch allows you to configure.
  3. R-Squared can be plotted on the Graph. R-squared is a measure of the strength of a trend, and its use is often recommended as a validator for momentum-based indicators like RSI and MACD, or to indicate trend reversals.
  4. R-Squared and R-Squared Delta have been added to the Trend Analysis display to show trend strength and whether the trend is strengthening or weakening.
  5. All listed reports now identify securities in which you have an investment.
  6. All reports and graphs can now be saved as image files as well as printed.
