INVESTOR'S ACCOUNTANT® 2004 (Version 2.0)

New in this release:

  1. Windows XP compatibility with internet downloading of price data.
  2. Updated for 2004 tax code revisions.  Contains revised Schedule D, and adds the ability to identify and list qualified dividends.
  3. Improved flexibility in calculating and reporting periodic performance (monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc) and composite performance of portfolio groups. Time weighted rate of return methods for group composite performance can now be calculated as either "Asset Weighted" or "Asset plus Cash Flow Weighted" averages, and a new "Aggregate" method of calculating group composite performance allows inclusion of portfolios with differing time spans. You can also now calculate monthly, quarterly, or yearly performance from the beginning of each period to the report ending date as well as from the beginning date to the end of each period.
  4. New Capital Gains Tax Report shows Sales transactions involving securities held 5 years or more.
  5. Listing options of 'Long Term Gain' and 'Short Term Gain' have been added to the Capital Gains by Portfolio Report Entry.  The resulting report lists securities in order of either Long or Short Term Gain.
  6. A transaction editing method is now available which enables you to edit the Qualified/Non-Qualified property of existing Dividend transactions for selected portfolios, securities and transaction date range.
